Nickent GenEx Iron Wood The 3DX name derives from a proprietary 3-dimensional weighting system which strategically places weight lower, deeper and towards the heel and the toe. The design produces a center of gravity (CG) that closely matches the CG of a lofted fairway wood. By positioning more mass in the visible weight port at the rear of the clubhead, each 3DX is fine tuned to provide optimal launch angle and trajectory for its specific loft. This allows a ball flight that is very penetrating at all trajectories, while maintaining the height and spin needed to hold greens on approach shots. The 3DX features many hybrid lofts in right- and left-handed models. This new hybrid system allows golfers to attain precise distance control and trajectory, which truly makes the 3DX ironwood a multi-purpose scoring club.

Nickent engineers took their time to make sure its CG (center of gravity) was positioned to provide improved forgiveness, greater distance and a perfect launch angle while presenting a pleasing profile at address. This new geometric shape moves the CG further back and lower in the club head and offers a very high MOI that helps keep the club head from twisting at impact. This 3DX Square profile repositions weight to the corners of the club head, raising the MOI across both the horizontal and vertical axes. This produces greater stability and forgiveness for ball striking across the entire face, which is much wider than your average driver. The proprietary Total Accuracy Control technology of the 3DX Square is maximum perimeter weighting and more discretionary weight for precise positioning of the CG and MOI. This was done without losing distance over previous Nickent drivers, according to Iron Byron tests conducted by Nickent engineers.

ARC, or Accelerated Rebound Core®, is a technology consisting of an internal core that positions a high-rebound elastomer directly behind the strike zone, delivering a lively, solid reaction from the face to the ball and eliminating vibration. The elastomer weighs 7 times less than the steel surrounding it, creating an internal cavity. This internal cavity gives birth to muscle back wedges that have the look and feel of a blade, and the playability and ease of use of a modern cavity back.
